Today is the day. The best day. My sister is coming in town. Her flight gets in and she is going straight to my house. She is going to get my dog. Ridley aka "Griddlecakes".... Most of you know I am the crazy dog lady. I talk about my dogs all the time. They are my whole life and now that I am down to one dog who is 1 and 1/2 he gets a LOT of air time. He is of the course the only flavor of dog..... a schnauzer. Shut up Lela, I know your thought bubble.Well probably all The Derby Hills consortium are snickering too. Can you imagine a Kerr without a schnauzer?
I can't...... Actually I can because I have had other dogs.... but that's another story.
Ridley will be here at 4 and all will be right with the world.
I wonder what he is going to think about the hospital bed. I hope he doesn't pee on it.....

He looks great in that bumblebee outfit! And his body language suggests that he might be gearing up to take a dump on the floor. I'm glad you are getting Ridley to keep you company at your mom's! But I hope they handled the most critical matter: Is there a TV by your bed??? The new Celebrity Apprentice begins on Sunday, and I'd hate for you to miss all the catfighting and backstabbing and NeNe Leakes doing the black girl head bob while she screams at Star Jones.

What's up with the antiquated bed? As a Kerr - (and much as you love your cars and other fancy machines) you need a tricked out one with a plethora of gadgets and gizmos such as a built in toilet(that empties itself via a plumbing connector or something movie-like) It should have AUTO lift and lower, recline, sitting up, and sleeping positions at the push of a button! In fact, it should have a Kindle plug-in and maybe a voice option so that it can read to you ... While I'm at it, it should have a remote control that lets you drive it around the house and it must have a doggie bed side car.
