Carcinosarcoma... An unusual uterine cancer but not a rare one. 2 Chemo protocols... TAP being the best option. They couldn't cut it all out so there is no cure just these treatment options according to this Dr. I saw today who delivered my sentence in a pedantic monologue. Too bad he could not deviate from his script because he lost me at, 'You can see other doctors but there is no point, they will not tell you anything different" I guess he did not know who he was dealing with. He had the personality of a cardboard box.....
So yeah I am a little upset at the news.... and they may not have another option but he said he spent an hour on the internet and he was quite certain there was nothing..
One hour on the internet... wow... Needless to say we are not going back to him. Really more of a personality thing than anything else. I need to click with who is saving me and the chemistry was way off.
Tests start next week. Chemo the week after. I will be bald....at least my head will be cool for summer. Y'all know how much hair I have.
I think I need a day off tomorrow to process this. I am trying to be the little trooper but this was really hard today.

ReplyDeleteI believe you said something a little bit more focused in your description of that man. Which, I think, you should also post because it was hilarious. At least you are keeping your sense of humor up, and the way that you look at the world, is the way the world is ... so keep the faith and know that you just might have a manageable illness that ...who knows, in several years ... will have much better protocol and options. Medicine is moving so quickly these days. Also, homeopathy has some interesting success stories. Remind me to tell you of the woman I took to a healer and her doctors were quite surprised at her improved results from stage 3 breast cancer. She is still alive and that was 20 years ago when I was married to the Tman. Keep searching for the right healers and know that I am with you in any way that you need, want or care to have me there.
