Everyone who is close to me knows I am deeply spiritual. I have always been proud to say I am an Episcopalian even if I am a little ahhhhhhh lapsed. I accepted dying along time ago when I lost my Dad in high school. That event shaped me and made me who I am today. After losing Dad, I have never been afraid of dying. I am afraid of suffering.
So when you are staring cancer in the face suddenly faith becomes all important, perhaps the most important thing. I guess what I am trying to say is you have no idea how much these prayers and well wishes mean to me because without them, I really have nothing. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
We are all keeping the faith! Let me know when and if you want to come down and help out in March. I think my break is in two weeks. So you will have much more information by that time, I assume. Hang in there!
