Meanwhile, I am lonely. My dog has abandoned me. He has a new best friend. They are smitten. He follows my sister everywhere. He could give a flying flip about me. Oh well..... fickle puppies. I am happy they are buddies, I just wish I had a little puppy love.
I can see that you were having a hard time sitting still over the weekend - yes, that is not your cup of tea at all; sitting still. Have you tried listening to books via your ipod or something? There are great podcast downloads that are full of ranting and bitching and all kinds of stuff out there. As it's hard to read on pain meds, this might work as another option besides the stupid tv. (Some shows aside) -- as in "Yes, House was weird last night!" Today is Mardi Gras - Adam is in New Orleans with 5 girls and apparently, he was nervous for no reason for they "all" like him. Oh Brother. Also, Simone has decided to come up here to live with me and go to college up here. Needless to say, the Tman freaked, she is overjoyed at her decision and I am like wtf? I have to buy her a car, place her on my insurance, enroll her in school.... Call me when/if you feel like talking as I don't know when a good time is for you ... but I do miss talking to ya! Hang in there and as always, I'm saying my prayers for you! Lent starts tomorrow. I've dedicated mine to your fight and to your healing!

You do not have to buy her a car. Troy needs to buy her a car. is Troy just going to flick her off..... And she might change her mind when she gets there. You know you are going to have to set boundaries..... i am sure it will be great.
You just said about one hundreth of the things I'm thinking. He did buy her a car. He's taking it away if she comes here. And finish that sentence! : "flick her off like a booger" - probably one of the best lines you've ever come with to describe being dumped by a guy. If she gets accepted into Chapel Hill maybe she'll just go straight there. Right now, she's been accepted to Asheville and the same kids from high school are going there - This all has to do with that boy - and seeing the same people and needing to leave them behind. She also mentioned your illness as an impetus to come live with me. I just don't know what to think except that I thought you'd be rather interested to hear that news.
