I had my iron iv. Ugh! My arm is killing me and it made me really sick. The nurses were like we haven't seen that, i am like it is on the sheet of side effects you gave me. So I came home and had a bad few hours. Finally got some anti nausea meds in. Ok today. It is just gonna be rough on Fridays. Hopefully they can give me some iv zofran next time to circumvent this. I called the nurse practitioner and she said,the iron is extremely harsh on the gi tract. Yes it is! Still really swollen. Scheduled to have fluid drained Mon. Hoping I do not have to go to er.this weekend. Not really sure why I am swelling since the dr said the chemo was working. Oh well. I am able to eat and drink today. That is what is important. It is amazing how sick you can get in the blink of am eye. Everything is so fragile. Ok I am going to nap. Have a great weekend.
