Honestly

I think I am blogged out a little. I don't have much new cancer news. I am not being witty or creative. Life is just going slow while I do more chemo. I feel like all i do is blah blah blah blah..... But I know a lot of my friends need this to stay in the loop. I just wish I had some more stories with some umph right now.
Griddle has continued to warm up to me as I have gotten better and is returning to his old self. He did not like me being so sick.
Mom is a train wreck,
Leslie is Leslie.
I am quite frankly bored out of my gravy sucking mind. I enjoy my daily outings. There is not much to do or many places to get comfortable at mom's. So going home to my house this weekend is very important to me. I am tired of tv. I can't focus to really read and I am not inspired to paint or draw yet.
I know it is coming.
Ok all for now.

  1. I check in here often, Ellen, and am always glad for any news from you, but don't let this blog be a burden. You need to concentrate your energy on things that benefit you right now.

You know our mothers are soulmates on some level so I can completely relate to your situation with Jane! Not to mention, at our age we have lived away from home for a long time and it is not natural to go back at this point. Hang in there. Jane loves you more than anyone; there's just no preparing to cope with something like this, for you or her.

Send her to visit with Mr. Stewart. That should take her mind off things for a while! Or maybe Willie Nelson would come to town and entertain her for a bit?

  2. My mom reacted similarly to my cancer. And almosr 4 years later if I ask her to come and watch the kiddos she is like
"Why what's going on?" So annoying. Do you like magazines? Easier than books. Can you handle visitors yet? Good friends can visit and beg them to tell you stories of annoyances in their lives to get your mind off of things or cry with them and then look at old pics and laugh. I tried to nap to make some of the time pass by. I have never met you but think of you all the time. LIVESTRONG,

  3. Thanks you guys. I do have visitors and it helps. Some people are too high energy! I have to have 1 person at a time for like 30 minutes.
Weasel, poor Mr. Stewart. Not good! I see chris all the time. Love him.
