Leslie aka LuLu is going home today. I am going to miss my handy companion.she takes me on an outing everyday. Last night we went to Macy's to get some shirts. Same problem ensues. I lost all this weight, and I still have big shoulders so it was very difficult finding some cute spring things. I bought one shirt. Ugh! We took 11 bags of clothes to goodwill last weekend.
Rid and I are going home for the weekend and ii am about to do cartwheels across the planet. I can sit on my screened porch. Lela and Marivee are staying with me, so we will have fun. I am looking at menus to see where I can go to eat. Cut out beef, pork, lamb, or fried, or rich, and it becomes a whole new way of thinking. There are so many places I can't go.
Well, that is about it... No other news really. I get my wig next tuesday. Kind of exciting.
Cartwheels across the planet! What an awesome vision :-). I miss you! It was so great to see you - even though it was only for a little while. I'm happy that you are going to your house this weekend with buddies to take care of you - nothing like being in your own personal space! Also, I can't wait to see you in the wig - you better post a picture! As always, I think about you frequently and am so glad to hear that you are doing more "normal" things (and your dog is better). I also think you should write more food descriptions about "taste" while going through Chemo as only YOU can describe things the way that you do - it could be a best seller (smile!).
