Thursday
Sitting here on the porch watching bluejays eat peanuts next door. There are three of them.A fat squirrel is sitting on the box with the peanuts greedily eating them, not letting the bluejays have any. Fat bastard. They are swarming trying to grab one. Fatso is going to eat them all. Occasionally he gets too busy with one and a bird is able to grab one and fly to the dogwood tree and eat it. I am sipping my coffee but the minute I finish, I have to eat to avoid acid coffee tummy. It is cool and nice and I am meeting a friend for lunch. Should be fun. Meanwhile, I think I am going to fix the walkway lighting. If I can bend down.... There are a million other little chores, one at a time I keep reminding myself. My body can't keep up with my brain. It will though. I just have to push a little more everyday. I am getting continually stronger but it is frustrating. Kind of like sitting at the piano and not being able to play like you once did and you get frustrated. Ok, gonna run for now. Have a great day! I am. peace

There not hard to work on Ellen if the bulb is not burned out its ether the contacts at the bulb get cruddy or the leads came loose it connects like speaker wire so its not to hard . I always had to lay down next to em to work on them. Good luck and have a wonderful day . We love you Ellen !
ReplyDeleteSeems to me that you have a lot more energy that a lot of us! Fixing light bulbs and watching the blue jays while drinking coffee is pretty darn good! Take it easy and enjoy what sounds like a lovely day. Hugs and prayers coming your way.
