Oh joy

Today is awful, I am so anemic I Am really dizzy. I almost fainted walking from the car to the Dr's office. They gave me the paperwork to get my handicap sticker. I am not having chemo today because I am too anemic. Am having a blood transfusion instead. 2 units. So I will be here all day and then Chemo tomorrow. The good news is my ca 125 levels have remained stable but my stomach is swollen and I can feel the tumors. So that is my story today. The dr. Said we are making progress but it is very slow. Cat scan next week to compare and hopefully cancer in my lungs is gone. What I am really excited about is the barium from the cat scan will make me have diarrhea! A welcome change.... Ok. Waiting on the blood. Then a big dose of benedryl and then I wil be night night for a while. Pray I don't react to the blood. I really really hope this chemo regimen is in fact working. Would the dr. Blow smoke up my ass? Actually he said he Had other options and to not worry if the cat scan was disappointing. Well, have a great day. Peace out.
