Yesterday started well and then I was sick from 3 pm until I went to bed. I could not even have a sip of water without being violently ill. Zofran did not help. I could not take my pain pill at bedtime. Regardless of that I did sleep. Restlessly. I have been in the hospital bed for 4 nights and I am stiff and sore. I woke up at 6 and was able to sip on so e apple juice and nibbling on some Greek yogurt and blueberries. My stomach is less swollen.... Go figure. Not really sure how I feel today, so far so good. everyday is completely different. I think we are heading home today. Cat scan Thursday. Les leaves sat until sat. That is about it for today. We will see if chemo brain has lightened up. Cross you fingers.

Checking in on you to see that you are having a tough time :-(. I hope today is a good day and that you are able to eat some good food. I, too, am looking forward you having a positive CAT scan! Adam is here and asked that I tell you "hey" and to "get better!". I said, I tell her that all the time :-) We love you.

ReplyDeleteHave you been given EMEND for the nausea? It is one of those horrendously expensive super-drugs that, I swear, doctors do not give unless asked to do so! But it works like a miracle.
