I drank some. I ate a little. I feel a little better. My legs are still on fire. My stomach is swollen. Leslie and i were laughing. I put on bikini underwear and with my swollen tummy i look like an italian man in a speedo at the beach. No seriously, i am laying bed. Leslie is going walking with stella jane and rid. I wish i could go. I am watching erin brochavich for the 100th time. I hope by tues i am back to the same old me. I can feel the chemo is taking its toll on me. Every cycle gets a little rougher. My body is getting a little frailer. My face is thinner. My eyelashes are gone and my eyebrows are going. My hair is still going. The hair in my nostrils is gone so my nose is runny and crusty and sore like a toddler. Who knew? Everyday is a little different. I think it is time for a snack. Peace.

ReplyDeleteI was also surprised at the nose hair/runny nose thing. That was so annoying.

I'm sorry you are having a rough weekend. If your legs are on fire from neuropathy or similar effects I have something that helped me. You can buy booties yes so glam online that you heat up in the microwave. The heat on my feet did bring some relief. I hope you can get some sleep tonight.
