It's amazing how good I feel/ i have not felt this 'normal" in 7 months. I was able to do some yard work. small things. i fixed my landscape lighting. Walked the dog in the park. it is a great day and I am eating an organic honey crisp apple. YUM!!!! I love fall apples and especially the honey crisps. i love how good I feel for now and pray that this continues. I know this next chemo will be a little harder, number 4. It builds in your body and each one zaps you a little more. It's ok. I am a fighter and I will continue to try and kick ass.
i am planning on some reading this afternoon with my handy companion in my lap. He loves to get in the chair with me on the porch when I read. Sometimes he bams the kindle with his paw. Of course a tummy rub is in order at that point. He has me wrapped around his little paw! I took him to home depot today. The buggy made him very nervous. He loved his car ride and that was what I really wanted hmi to have since it has cooled off. I don't put him in the car except to the vet from MAy to Oct. Just too hot but the rest of the time, he is my errand dog.
Not much other news to report. I am sad about Steve Jobs passing. i love his quote and I am paraphrasing, How do you live until you know you are dying? So true. So relevant.
Anyways ponder that for a bit.
Peace
YOU! KICK ASS and i mean that in the best possible way . We love you Ellen enjoy your day !
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you are feeling better and getting out to more places! Sometimes it just takes time to get your sea legs back but it sounds as though you are ready to go! Praying chemo 4 does its job and you continue to feel great! Hugs to you and Rid!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you are feeling so good. And I love the phrase "errand dog".
ReplyDeleteI am sad about Steve Jobs too. I have never had anything but an Apple product since 1982. He was my hero.
I'm SO glad to hear you're feeling so good. I'm enjoying honey crisps from the farmers market lately too! It helps me get over the fact that all the yummy peaches are gone. I'm sad about Steve Jobs too. I've been telling my girls what an inspiration he was to me. I'm amazed how much he changed our world. Our- I mean you & me. From high school to now. Whoa! Wow. Amazing. I'm thinking about you every day & keeping you in my prayers. Keep up the hard work. You're amazing and an inspiration to me too!
