Got the 1st dose. Went fine. I have to take mezna at 8 and midnight tom protect my bladder.a side effect of this drug is bladder hemorrhaging. And then there is the steroid buzz. I think I will be up all night.ugh.
So I am reading and watching tv. But it gets a little boring. Ok I have it again tomorrow-that's when it kicks in(nausea etc) ok gotta go.

ReplyDeleteI am curious, and I hope this doesn't come under the heading of annoying questions: do you happen to know what the physiological reasons are for administering steroids with the chemo are? I really only know steroids as an anti-inflammatory and was wondering what else they might do. Besides, you know, jackin' you up. :) Send an answer via email if you feel so inclined. Love ya.
