Hello

I just haven't felt like writing. i am feeling pretty good and living my life for a short window. Waiting for the next little bomb to drop. but for now I am cooking and eating and feeling ok. Still weird but my energy is up. I am gaining strength. Unloading groceries from the car and putting them away still about kills me. Rid is rowdie and all over me like glue, the little brat woke me up in the middle of the night for a tummy rub. Geez. I have totally spoiled him.
i don't have anything to vent about at this minute. My good friends have really been there for me. Old friends have reached out and I appreciate that more than you know. It is so great to pick up where we left off. In some cases it has been a couple of years since we spoke,in some cases maybe 10. They say you are lucky if you can count your real friends on one hand. I can count them on 2....and maybe a foot.
I feel so lucky.
Bloodwork today. That's about it folks.
Enjoy your day.
Isn't it awesome it is so nice in the mornings now?
Peace

  2. Hi Ellen! We have missed seeing you the last few weeks. Just caught up on your blog and am happy you've had some time at home and those tumors keep shrinking! I will not stop praying for you to be totally healed. You sound so grateful for your friends and I know you are, but I'm sure they are even more grateful for YOU! You're smart and funny and inspiring and beautiful with or without a lot of hair! Hang in there. We'll definitely come visit when you're back in DH and want to come by on your Mom's birthday anyway! Love, Mendy

  3. Glad to hear the weather has cooled down a bit over there. We're still pretty miserable here... 80s in the a.m., triplets in the afternoon. There are rumors that a "cold front" will be moving in Sunday. Keeping fingers crossed. Everything is dead here. It was overcast yesterday morning so I took a walk around the neighborhood. Looks like fall colors, except it's that everything is dead from this brutal summer. Hang in there!
