One last post with details on the celebration of life for Ellen. Service is tomorrow 11am at Church of the Atonement, 4945 High Point Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30342. I am including the link for Ellen's obituary below:

And, last, but not least, I also had to share this photo of Patrick. I call it Night, Night, Auntie E...
Tomorrow's service will be hard for me. I still can't believe she is gone and I think about her everyday. Thanks to everyone for your support through Ellen's journey. I hope you can help say goodbye to her tomorrow at 11AM.
May God bless you and your family. Many of us who can't be there physically tomorrow will be there in heart, mind and spirit - and that includes Ellen! Instead of "Goodbye" perhaps it's just "Until we meet again"? Prayers for you all.
ReplyDeleteFor those who could not make it to the celebration, it was a beautiful service with wonderful words from those who loved her so much. The church was full, as one would have expected, as was her life. Rest in peace, Ellen. Leslie, it was great to see you today. I'm holding you and your mom in prayer.
ReplyDeletebig hugs to you, Patrick & the entire family

Hugs and prayers to you all as you mourn the loss of Ellen. I didn't know her except through her blog but she certainly exhibited an inordinate amount of strength and determination. So terribly sorry for your loss.
